Going Provisioning - March 17, 2020

Moved over to Long Bay to fill up on diesel and make a stop at Pueblo and Kmart. After hearing all of the devastating news, it was somewhat reassuring to see that life ashore on St Thomas felt normal. The thing is that here on island, we are just a little bit behind everyone else, so life feels normal here for now, but that will undoubtedly change soon. We decided against going to Kmart to avoid encountering more people. The only reason to go to Kmart was for a kitchen timer since my last one fell into the ocean, and I can use the timer on my phone, so that’s not mission-critical. We stocked up on lots of stuff at Pueblo including the most critical items - wine and rum! Stayed in Long Bay for the night. Broccoli Cheddar Quiche for dinner.
